Safety in Billy Fury Way NW6

Good Afternoon 

First part of making Billy Fury Way safer and more secure for local residents of West Hampstead. In working partnership with NETWORK RAIL, CAMDEN COUNCIL & POLICE they have managed to close a big part of the open area of BILL FURY WAY. This area which is outside the student accommodation was constantly being used by drug users, homeless and a lot of Anti-Social Behaviour effecting residents living close by. 

With this area being closed it should reduce the issues that have been happening recently and is another place drug users cannot use. Lately Your safer Neighbourhood Officers have been conducting regular high visibility patrols to where a number of Stop & Searches that have also led arrests of suspects. These suspects have been linked to a number drug and theft offences.

This again is the first part of a plan your local Police Officers to make the use if BILLY FURY WAY safer for you the public. We will of course still patrol this on out shift and if you see anything suspicious please call 101 or 999.
